Shougang, one of the largest steel companies in China announced to cut its prices for steel flat products for May.
The company decided to cut its prices for hot rolled coils (HRC) by RMB150/ton, making its prices for Q235 HRC with thickness of 5.5mm become RMB3,620/ton without 17% VAT.
Besides, Shougang remained its prices for cold rolled coils (CRC) and hot dipped galvanized steel coils and plates (HDG) unchanged for May.
However, it offered discounts of RMB170~RMB220/ton for CRC and RMB50~RMB180/ton for HDG.
